拍品描述: ART DU JAPON, D'EPOQUE EDO ca.1660-1680 Important cabinet de voyage sur piétement En laque noire au décor en laque or d'un palais et d'oiseaux du paradis ouvrant en fa?ade par deux ventaux, découvrant un agencement en gradin de petits et grands tiroirs au décor assorti de palais, paysages et végétaux, l'intérieur des portes au décor d'un canard sous une branche fleurie. Les charnières de porte de forme lancéolée et l'importante garniture d'entrée sont en cuivre doré et finement ciselé de motifs floraux, les panneaux latéraux au décor assorti d'oiseaux du paradis à l'or en relief avec la prise de voyage en bronze doré. Le piétement d'époque Régence (1715-1723) en bois sculpté et doré, entièrement décoré en relief de feuillages, de rinceaux, d'agrafes et centré d'une tête de mascaron, il repose par quatre pieds cambrés et ponctués d'enroulements et de feuilles d'acanthe. Ce type de cabinet était destiné à cette époque aux riches familles aristocrates occidentales et généralement livré sans piétement, ceux-ci étant réalisés en Europe comme celui présenté, semblable à ceux de l'ancienne collection Gardès ou du Bayerishes National museum.
