拍品描述: Below is information casually compiled from internet research: You are advised to do your own investigations or consult with an expert in the field. This is one of many art pieces assigned to us on a consignment basis. We personally retrieved each item from an attic during a pre-home/estate listing sale. Owned by our client who owns a prominent Italian restaurant in Los Angeles & Beverly Hills for 40-50 years. William McCauley Western Print "Warpath" Limited w COA (Clearly showing Native Americans on Horseback) Description: The listing is for an original signed limited edition print by William McCauley. The title is "Warpath". The original COA from the collectors guild of New York. Edition 219 of 375. There is a piece of art tape on the top back edge of the print from where it was previously framed. Excellent condition as shown. Measures 22 1/4" x 19 1/4" edge to edge. 19 1/2" x 16 1/2" for the printed area. William McCauley was born in Oklahoma in 1931 and received his fine arts degree from North Texas University. As a young artist he was chosen to represent "Young American Painters" in the DD Feldman collection which toured the United States, Europe, India, and the Middle East. His lithographs and silk screens are well known to art connoisseurs of many lands and his works appear in celebrated collections in the united states and abroad. He has had one man shows in New York City, San Francisco, Columbus, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Providence, and Boston.
