拍品描述: Lucas Samaras (American/Greek, 1936); Pastel Self Portrait, 1961 with the old back-board affixed to reverse of frame dated "November 10, 1961" and signed "L S" in pencil and again in ink and stamped "15 West 57th Street / The Green Gallery"; together with an image of the work on Pace Wildenstein stationery authenticated again 14 February 2004 by the artist with his signature over the image; archival framing by A. P. F. Good condition, light fading at edges to original paper. Height of art 12 inches (30.5 cm.) X width 9 inches (23 cm.). Provenance: Estate of Jed Carey, Easthampton, Long Island; the Green Gallery. 48 Pastels are currently on display at the Morgan Library in the exhibition Dreams in Dust: The Pastels of Lucas Samaras, May 6 through August 21, 2016.
