Small Qingbai Bowl, China, Song dynasty style, conical with six-lobed mouth rim, resting on a short raised foot, the interior decorated with incised calligraphic floral design, ht. 1 5/8, mouth rim dia. 4 3/4 in. Provenance: Mathilde Wolff Collection since 1984, purchased from Dunt King, Hong Kong; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $1,200-1,500 uneven glaze, minor chip to rim.
