拍品描述: 清代木胎狻猊耳高脚香炉：口径11.8cm，高10.5cm，最大腹部直径：15.5cm. 重量：480克。拍品来源：欧洲裔古董商。底部款识：“乾隆年制”篆书款识。此炉呈鼓式，狻猊首耳，整体古拙，其口平而内敛，身如鼓，狻猊首耳威猛霸气，双目炯炯有神，毛发刻画生动，极具气势，三只高足等距，形为简象。“乾隆年制”四字篆书款，款式工整，字体流畅。整体木质精良，入手非常沉重，包浆清润自然，宝光内蕴，周身光素无纹，返璞归真，制作古拙精湛，线条流畅，庄重沉稳间，见清灵之气，绝非俗匠所能为，实为文人制炉之雅物。明清时期的香炉，大多为铜质香炉，以木为胎的香炉极为罕见，故而尤为珍贵，保存完整者更为罕见，稀有珍贵。书斋禅房中，香炉烟结供，或焚香，或赏玩，得而万化息心。清代香炉承明宣德炉之遗韵，复古与开新并存，谱写了香炉制作的新篇章。雍正时期的炉线条柔和，而乾隆时精炉工艺水平步入巅峰，制作精美，工艺精湛。明清文人燕闲清赏，多重香茗之属，古意盎然，供用尤妙。---------------------------------------------- Qing dynasty wooden tire lion ear tall incense burner: diameter 11.8 cm, 10.5 cm high, maximum abdominal diameter: 15.5 cm.
