拍品描述: Virat Swaroop Pichwai The Pichwai painting is intricately painted with the Vishvarup or Virat Swarup of Lord Krishna. It depicts the famous scene from the battle of Kurukshetra in the Mahabharat between Pandavas and Kauravas, where Lord Krishna simplifies the knowledge of the Bhagavada Gita. Here Lord Krishna is shown as a Cosmic Man. He is portrayed as the man engulfing the whole Universe with Upper as well as the Nether worlds. 173 by 76.5 cm.
