拍品描述: (2) American Folk Art carved wood horse toys, Late 19th/Early 20th c., incl. a hide covered horse toy, New Ipswich, New Hampshire, accompanied by sales tag, and a horse pull toy, carved and painted horse with hair tail, found in Connecticut, accompanied by original purchase invoice, 9"h x 8.5"l x 3"w (larger), 8"h x 7"l x 3"w (smaller)Provenance: From the Estate of Nancy R. and Myron L. Mayer, New York City; Harold Smith Antique Furniture (hide covered horse), Modern Primitive, New York - Purchased 7/15/83 - $3,000 (pulltoy)Condition: Good/Fair, hide covered horse with wear and bald spots on hide, loss to mane and tail, tack holes in hooves where previously mounted, pull toy with nice old surface, cracks, particularly around legs, small losses to ears, paint mostly intact with small losses **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
