拍品描述: Egyptian whistle, (2) bowls, & Ushabti, ex-museum, Incl. (1) terracotta bird form whistle mounted to acrylic stand and (2) bowls, probably c. 100 BCE-200 CE, each with accession numbers to underside, 3"h x 3"l x 2.5"w (bird), 5"h (total), 2.5"dia (bowls), and an Ushabti, probably c. 600-500 BCE, molded and incised unglazed clay, representing a servant for the afterlife in mummy form, holding the symbolic pick and hoe, remnant white pigment and lettering visible, accession number verso, 7"hProvenance: Deaccessioned works benefiting the Newark Museum; the Ushabti purchased by Museum acquisitions fund in 1929Condition: Good, all intact with no repairs or restorations observed, old weathered surfaces **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
