拍品描述: Old Japanese giltwood figure of Jizo (Ksitigarbha), Likely Edo Period (18th/19th c.), the gilt carved wood standing figure dressed in robes holding a staff and jewel, with separately carved halo and wearing a brass and bead necklace, on tiered lotus base, 28"h x 8"dia (total)Condition: Good/Fair, generally well preserved for age and materials, with old losses and adaptation to base, worn surface with substantial gilding loss, roughness to some edges, nicks and scratches, staff broken and held with tape **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
