James Perrigo Cherry Tall Clock, Wrentham, Massachusetts, c. 1800, fret-top case above the freestanding reeded columns, roman numeral painted iron dial marked "James Perrigo," running seconds, pierced steel hands, raised gilt decorated spandrels, and a cottage scene in the arch, tombstone full-length waist door, all resting on bracket feet, eight-day, time-only, hour-strike movement, regulated by two tin-cased weights and a wooden rod pendulum, ht. 93 in. with finials. Estimate $2,000-4,000 bottom board replaced, one rear foot glue block replaced, some repairs to fret work, wood weight pulleys stamped with 1935 date.
