Comprising 7 dinner plates, 9 dessert plates with ruffled edges, 14 salad plates, 16 bread and butter plates, 2 small shallow bowls, 19 teacups, 23 saucers, 2 open sugar bowls, 1 teapot, 2 various sized creamers, 1 serving bowl, pair of candlesticks, 3 small spare lids. 'ROYAL CROWN DERBY / RCD mark / Made in England / XIV / "OLDE AVESBURY" / BONE CHINA'. in reddish brown glaze to the undersides. Bowl and candlesticks with later marks. Circa 1940. {Approximate dimensions: Dinner plates 10 5/8 inches diameter, dessert plates 8 5/8 inches diameter, salad plates 8 1/2 inches diameter, bread plates 6 3/8 inches diameter, shallow bowls 6 3/8 inches diameter, saucers 5 3/4 inches diameter, serving bowl 4 1/2 high x 11 3/4 inches diameter, candlesticks 10 5/8 inches high.}.
