Late 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: Clock 14 high x 16 wide x 5 1/2 inches deep.}. Condition: Very minor chips to marble edges, very minor patina to the gilt metal, beaded accent piece likely reglued. Detouche was appointed official clock-maker to Emperor Napoleon III (1808-1873; reign 1852-1870). Winder and pendulum available.
