拍品描述: The exquisite gilt clock surmounted by removable acanthus leaf lid with flame finial, to horizontally revolving two train clock mechanism with porcelain plaques signifying hour and minute designations, mechanism of bimetallic compensated balance wheel with platform level escapement and breguet balance-spring, held aloft by urn style frame with four stylized hooved legs, floral swag surrounding central urn frame flanked by female winged sphinx, beaded rope between, coiled serpent with arrow tongue extending upwards in the middle of urn frame and denotes time, raised on curved octagonal-variant plinth, floral and ribbon relief to interspersed frieze panels, terminating on elongated toupie feet.
