The gilt bronze gong casted in drum shaped body, bulbous on mid section, with flat base. Two headed PuLao dragons flanked on the flat top, the beast is powerfully modeled with eyes bulging and nostrils flaring above long curling whiskers. The mouth of the dragon is agape, revealing its tongue flicked up between sharp fangs, with two long studded horns extending back over its head along a combed mane with finely incised details. The gong decorated with cast of two leveled rows protruding Ba Gua emblems, the eight diagram, with trails of knobs banded in between. An Archaic leiwen lattice enclosed by cartouche, vertically cast on the center. The gilt bronze bell hung on a twin-dragon loop hardwood frame stand.
Mark on the body, protruding seven script -KaiShu- characters, KangXi Fifty Four Years Reign Period.
