拍品描述: A Large Chinese Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Buddha Bodhisattva Figure of Manjushree. Peaceful and youthful in appearance, like the rising sun. The face has well-defined, arched brows above elongated, almond-shaped eyes and is framed by the pierced, pendulous ear lobes and the neat edge of the hair, which is arranged in blue tight curls that continue onto the low domed ushnisha. Hair is piled in a topknot, some falling loose across the shoulders, tied with flowers. Lightly adorned with gold earrings and a choker necklace, he wears a lower garment with even-folds covering the legs. With his weight on his left arm and his right raised out in varada gesture laying comfort to the knee, causing his hip to sway to the right. In a relaxed posture of royal ease upon a double lotus throne.
