拍品描述: Chinese Qing Dynasty Gilt Bronze Bodhidharma Buddha
Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) PERIOD AND OF THE PERIOD

Finely Cast Gilt Bronze of Bodhisattva Buddha figure, Serene face amidst intricate ornate headdress, elongated ears with floral earrings. Wearing elaborately dressed adored with floral details jewelries. Right Hand raised upfront, in Karana Mudra, gesture which demons are expelled. The left hand straight lay back ward supported the body weight on the pedestal. Seated in crossed leg Lotus position upon double lotus throne. There is extensive gilding remaining on the face and neck. Qing Dynasty and of the period.
