拍品描述: Description A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE KINGFISHERS, QIANLONG China, 1735-1796. The colorful birds perched on a hollow openwork treestump, their wings folded over their long tails, their heads slightly cocked in alert pose, their plumage decorated in vivid polychrome enamels, their distinct beaks in iron-red. (2) Provenance: From the estate of an English collector. Condition: Superb condition with only minor wear and a microscopic glaze flake to the tip of one beak. Extremely rare in this fine state of preservation!
