拍品描述: Of rectangular form, the lid carved with two hunters armed with stick and rifle perched in trees above a lion who is ensnared in a net, below further lions attack the men on the ground, the sides carved with scenes of animals and their young in the forest, 28 long x 24 deep x 17cm. high The inside of the lid with an engraved plaque reading: "Presented to E.J. Bunbury, ESQR., Managing Director The Gokak Mills, LTD., by The workers & The Indian Staff of the Gokak Mills, LTD., as a mark of esteem & respect Gokak Falls - 4th May 1935.
