拍品描述: Rococo chest of drawersGebrüder Spindler, attrib. to circle or studio - mid 18th c.On short curved feet the three-drawer corpus, curved at the front, veneered with diamondmarquetry fields; on the top central picture cartouche with landscape, large flower vaseand figures, the drawer fronts also on the sides with diamond marquetry as well asdelicate flower branches. Walnut, burr walnut, maple root and other deciduous woodsveneered, partly coloured, engraved or shaded, original iron locks, bronze fittings. 84 x133 x 61 cm. - Both the shape of the chest of drawers with its double curved front and thedecoration, especially the inlay on the top, in which the natural grain of the root veneerserves as an imaginative rock landscape, can be compared to the artistic furniture of theBayreuth manufacture of the brothers Johann Friedrich and Heinrich Wilhelm Spindler.Rokoko-KommodeGebrüder Spindler, Umkreis oder Werkstatt zugeschrieben - M. 18.
