拍品描述: Ludwig Bemelmans (American, 1898–1962): Original signed "Bemelmans," a 1937 watercolor, gouache, and partial collage drawing used for the 1940-1941 dust jacket of "The Donkey Inside" and also a double page illustration within titled "Indians in the Patio of the Hotel Sucre in Otavalo". Originally serialized in 1937-1938 in Town & Country Magazine; custom APF museum standard framing with linen mat. Good condition. Height of art 20 inches (51 cm.) X width 30 inches (76.5 cm.). Note: A copy of the book with slipcover is included with this lot.
