A miscellaneous lot to include a hallmarked silver St. John Ambulance Association Long Service chain, with nineteen year bars 1911-1919 and 1924-1933, plus a Thomas Charles of Bala silver medallion, engraved 1906, diameter 44mm, cased, a further silver and enamel medal, 'For Service to Club & Cause' on blue ribbon, and a 1948 Olympics lapel pin. Together with an Association of Conservative Clubs (A.C.C) gilt and enamel medal for Distinguished Service, a 1920's small boxing medal, two Festival of Britain 1951 Crowns, various other gilt metal pins, etc. The silver Thomas Charles medallion tests as 99% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
