An amusing early 20th century stained wooden cigar box, modelled as a dogs kennel, the hinged apexed cover lifting to reveal a part fitted interior, above a plain front, one side with pierced aperture containing a cast metal study of the head and forelegs of a terrier with inset glass eyes, 9.5 (24cm) wide. Surface finish is slightly faded in colour, possibly sun bleached, there are age related marks and signs of wear with some small chips and losses to edge of cover.
