A pair of late Victorian silver open salts, of oval part fluted form, the lobed edge with embossed foliate detail, and twin curved handles, hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1900. Together with a pair of Edwardian silver open salts, of faceted form and raised upon four ball feet, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London 1901, plus a 1920's silver sauce boat with frilled rim, foliate capped flying scroll handle and raised upon three shell mounted hoof feet, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1929, and a small cut glass bottle with silver mounted hinged cover, hallmarked Birmingham 1897. Total weighable silver 5.6 ozt (174.2 grams). With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Victorian salts with pitting and nicks throughout, handles slightly knocked in places, and some possible repairs where handles join body. One handle with wear and small loss. Edwardian salts with pitting and nicks throughout, curved edge knocked and slightly misshapen in places. Some ball feet with slightly compression.Sauce boat with some slightly pitting and nicks, and few small indentations, particularly beneath and to interior of bowl. Frilled edge slightly knocked in places. Scroll handle slightly knocked off centre. Small silver topped glass bottle with scratches, wear and small losses to glass. Silver cover heavily knocked and misshapen to one side. Cover closes too but is loose.
