A mid-20th century silver fruit dish, the oval form with applied border of stylised flowerhead motifs interspersed with foliate scroll and shell detail, and raised on four acanthus capped scrolled feet. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1968. Maximum length 11.5 (29.2cm), weight 39.13 ozt (1217.2 grams). Appears in good overall condition, displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several heavier contact marks, surface nicks and scratches visible to the plain centre and a very slight impression visible from one of the feet.Very slight wobble.
