A small Edwardian silver pedestal basket, of pierced urn form with blue glass liner, the rope twist swing handle surmounted with a small figure of a bird, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1909, height excluding handle 3.5 (9cm). Together with a cased set of six Edwardian silver spoons, the stems with bright cut engraved detail, hallmarked Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield 1908, six 1920's silver coffee spoons, with scroll detailed terminals, hallmarked Abrahams Brothers, Birmingham 1924, and a Victorian silver butter knife, hallmarked Sheffield 1889, maker's mark worn and indistinct. Silver weight 8.17 ozt (254.2 grams). With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Silver basket with some nicks to edges, and some slightly knocks. Slightly unsteady on base. Glass liner with scratches, pitting, some nicks and a few small losses.Spoons with a few nicks to edges of bowls and stems.Butter knife with some nicks throughout, and a number of solder repairs to handle.
