The two front doors of fine Huanghuali wood panels set into a veneered frame with movable stile, Huali and mixed hardwood paneled sides. The apron carved with confronting dragons. Interior with a large floating fixed shelf with twodrawers and a removable shelf above, metal mounts. Late Qing dynasty. H 69 x W 43 D 25 in.
Two front doors are 18th/19th C of solid Huanghuali panels, with some minor shrinkage and later filling. Upper hat chest missing. Missing lock.Water damage to base, front left foot slightly warn down. Front veneered elements to front apron shows signs of loss. missing shelf for hidden compartment.
