拍品描述: A 19th century silver plated samovar, with acanthus leaf handles and raised on a square base. The front of the samovar is incised with foliate decoration with a monogram IHB and a bone handled tap, the verso with inscription reads: Baptist Chapel Grosvenor Street Manchester presented to Rev'd H J Betts by the church and congregation on his retirement from the pastorate 25th March 1872, approx 57 cms h.
