The double-edged blade of watered steel with a central raised rib and reinforced point, the nephrite hilt in shape of a stylised parrot head of rare grayish blue jade with a collar of pavé emeralds and four cabochon rubies all set in gold in kundan technique, the sheath of red velvet with cut and gilded copper mounts.
