A song dynasty spirit jar. The lid is detachable and decorated with a bird, whilst the lower neck portions are decorated with a proto-dragon and a tiger, with birds and plants. Known as "long hu" vase, or dragon and tiger vase. Size: 32 x 9.8 x 9 cm. Acquired by a Canadian collector, whom purchased it fro man American collection which was originally bought in 1950s.
