Well potted with gently curving sides, painted in vivid tones of iron-red and underglaze-blue with characteristic 'heaping and piling' in the centre with a floral scroll medallion encircled by a composite floral meander of camellia, hibiscus, peony, gardenia and lotus blooms in the cavetto, repeated on the exterior, the base inscribed with a six-character Yung-Cheng mark within a double circle, 16.3 in diameter.
