RODCHENKO, Aleksandr (Russian 1891-1956) L`ART DECORATIF ET INDUSTRIEL DE L`U.R.S.S. [Decorative and Industrial Art of the USSR], catalog for the 1925 International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts in Paris. Moscow: GOZNAK, 1925. 4to (269 x 204 mm). 96 pages. Illustrated with color and monochrome photogravures. Original Constructivist wrappers designed by A. Rodchenko. Rebacked, some soiling. With essays by Anatoly Lunacharsky, David Shterenberg and others.

This exhibition perhaps did more to bring the progress of Socialist art to the West than any other effort. The catalog is filled with reproductions of fine and decorative Russian works. Rodchenko received a silver medal for excellence at the exposition.
