拍品描述: An ancient (5000 BC - 1500BC) Egyptian faience figurine representing the goddess Thoueris (Taweret), the divine nurse and protector of children, with small green, red, and gray faience disk-shaped 5mm beads, re-strung on a wearable 20 inch necklace, one clasp marked 14 K, the other marked 12KTGF, the beads and figure excavated from Deir el Bahri in upper Egypt, Provenance: from the collections of Lady Munafo in Cairo, Azeez Khayat of Haifa Palestine, and Susette Khayat of New York, with certificate of authenticity, the figurine 1 11/16 by 1/2 by 9/16 inches.
