拍品描述: A WW1 Military Cross, together with a miniature M.C., War & Victory medals to Captain Richard Lowe, Gloucester Regiment, the M.C. was awarded to Lt R Lowe on 1st February, 1919 for his part in the Italian Campaign in which the 1/4th and 1/5th Gloucesters had splendidly upheld the high traditions of the Regiment and is mentioned in despatches London Gazette Friday 31st January 1919. 'Lt. (A/Capt.) Richard Lowe, 1/4th Bu. Glouc. R., T.F. (ITALY). During a raid at Ave, on the Asiago Plateau, on the night 23rd-24th October, 1918, it was largely due to this officer's very gallant leading and personal courage that his company captured over 100 prisoners.
