拍品描述: Allegory of the nymph with children′s figures, circa 1900, original author′s piece number 1, patinated bronze, 39 x 32 x 21 cm Masterpiece bronze sculpture by prestigious sculptor and decorator of the 19th century. Mathurin Morea was one of the leading French sculptors academic direction, and his work is characterized by an excellent depiction of content tone of the work. In the foreground the artist′s interest has always been the craftsmanship of the product, realistic fidelity and academic nobility, which is very well documented in this sculpture too.
