拍品描述: 一对清康熙青花山水渔樵人物纹花觚： Pair of Beautiful And Rare Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi period B/W glaze HUA-GU vases. This vases has a very elegant, graceful, and flowing contour. It has an elongate body, especially the upper section, and with a proportionally large mouth than such vases made thereafter. This shape is typical for Kangxi B/W glaze HUA-GU vases. The clay that forms the body is white and very fine, typical of Kangxi porcelain clays. The transparent glaze on the inner wall and the outer base is white, jewelry blue glaze is exceedingly beautiful and very rare. In Chinese porcelain history, this color exists primarily among a very small number of Five Dynasty Cai porcelains and Song Ru wares. But the ancient glazes are quite different from this glaze of Kangxi in other aspects. Many minute shallow dents, about 0.2 mm in diameter, scatter on the surface of the glaze, resulting from burst bubbles occurring during firing and cooling. This feature is common among early Kangxi porcelains. A double circles mark in under glaze blue is written at center of the outer base. The under glaze cobalt pigment is subdued and appears to adhere to the bottom of the glaze. These are important characteristics of early Kangxi under glaze, and differentiate Kangxi from later imitations. On the 16th year of Kangxi reign, the head Fo-Liang county, where the imperial porcelain factory resided, prohibited the writing of reign mark on porcelains, in order to prevent that the sacred reign mark might be trashed when porcelain is broken. Perhaps this is the reason that Kangxi mark was not written on this magnificent vase. The vases has a very good culture &art appreciation and collection value.
