拍品描述: Polish-American political interest An early 19th Century circular shaped portrait engraving study of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko, lith De Delpech (a/f), in a later 20th Century American gilded metal mounted frame, stamped to the back 'Columbia medallion studios Chicago', 15cm in diameter. General Tadeusz Kosciuszko (1746-1817), statesman, military leader who became a national hero in Poland and the United States. He was a close friend of George Washington, where he fought in the American War of Independence.
