A Victorian sterling silver mustard pot, the body London 1874 by Francis Boone Thomas, the lid London 1863 by Charles Boyton
Of cylindrical drum form, with beaded rims, the hinged domed top raised by a scallop shell thumbpiece with a spoon aperture opposite. The lid engraved with a crest of a martlet on a mount with a cross pattee fitchee in the beak. Removable blue glass liner. Together with a mustard spoon, London 1874 by George Adams of Chawner & Co, Old English Bead pattern, double struck, crested the same. Fully marked underneath and to spoon, part-marks to lid. (2)
