清康熙 五彩人物故事碗 Potted with deep sides rising from straight foot to flared rim, the exterior finely painted with a continuous scene of various figures, the interior enamelled with a seated immortal seated upon clouds with head against red mandorla, surrounded by four auspicious motifs encircled at the rim, the base painted with a single leaf motif and with a label from Harrods. Qing Dynasty period. Height: 4 in (10.2 cm) Diameter: 8 5/8 in (21.9 cm) 康熙五彩冠絶一時，為世人所重。究其原因，固然與彩料精研，出色絢麗有關，更勝在其畫法獨特，風格一絶，均令後世難以企及。誠如《匋雅?捲上》所評“康熙彩之顏料，因非後世所常有。論其畫手高妙，不但官窯器皿，髣髴王惲，即平常客貨，亦莫不出神入化，波瀾老成。”此碗微撇口，腹部下收，圈足，樹葉款識。通體以五彩描繪，器身以紅、綠、黃等諸色彩繪製，富麗堂皇的樓閣，高聳入雲的古樹，仕女面容端莊清秀，氣質高雅恬靜。男子騎著駿馬，神態自然，侍從跟隨其旁，整幅畫面流暢自然，人物生動形象。
