1750-1820Of flattened ovoid shape, one side incised with an image of a marigold plant bearing one large and one small bloom, the other side inscribed with an imperial poem in praise of the marigold, surmounted by a short waisted neck with a broad oval lip, all supported on a flat attenuated oval foot. 2 3/8in (6cm) high
