AN ENAMELED GLASS 'LOTUS' SNUFF BOTTLE
Qianlong period, 1736-1795Of flattened globular form surmounted by a gently tapered neck with a flat lip and supported on a flat foot, the crizzled light blue glass enameled on one side with blossoming lotus plants and reeds, the other side inscribed in white enamel with two lines of poetic verse and painted with three seals reading zhonghe, Shangao and Wu Yuchuan. 2 1/8in (5.3cm) high
