1800-1860Carved as a plump puppy with floppy ears in a recumbent pose, paws tucked under the body, the tail curled over the back, the alert eyes inlaid, the mouth of the bottle situated where the puppy's nose should be, the lustrous translucent stone with some cloudy inclusions. 2 1/2in (6.4cm) long
