拍品描述: Handsome unusual buffet table or sideboard,server hand carved, for dining room or bar with area below for wine racks comes from England 19th century. Also makes a wonderful foyer piece. Gorgeous mahogany,walnut,fruitwood and crotch burl mahogany woods with wonderful aged patina to all with excellent craftsmanship throughout. Tiny chisel marks on the arched thick upper center carving with laurel leaves are visible as hand made. Two recessed burl drawers with antique brass drop pulls. Turned legs. Upper shelf below carving. Tag on the back with brass nails states the piece was sold by Wright brothers Ltd. Complete Home Furnishers in Richmond S.W. England,no longer in existence. The talented craftsman unknown. A wonderful piece for many uses and in excellent condition with only minute scratches from use over the years. Top unit and shelf removable for shipping. Overall measurements 53.5 H X 48 L X 16 D. Unit beneath is 23.5 H,36.5 to table top X 14 D,top shelf 6.75 D. Item ID: GR32006
