拍品描述: Japan. Early Edo period. 17th c. Ink, colors and gold on paper. Mounted with silks from Meiji period. a) The evening palace scene shows a young samurai in eye contact with a lady facing him, next to her a young companion. Three other young court ladies with open hair are looking for a second samurai who has a tray of incense in front of him. b) Two samurai accompanied by two Wakash? and a lady meet a group of three monks. Two other samurai approach the scene. In the background three women watching from the palace. Painting size 78 x 37cm, with frame 114,5 x 53,5cm. Condition B. Restored.
