拍品描述: Persia. Safavid (1501-1722) or Qajar period (1779-1924). 17th/18th c. Fine lacquer painting with gold. Back in leather. Front and back with garden landscape with persons having a picknick. In the center three curvated cartridges with each a person. Three frames with flower scrolls. Inside with cartridges with drinking person on strong red background. 34.5 x 22.5cm. Condition A/B. Compare: -In the collection of the Harvard Art Museum in Cambridge there is a similar binding under object no. 196.149, but dated to the 16th century.
