A Cantonese style, Chinese, porcelain punch bowl with large and small panel illustrations of groups of figures conversing with one another in court attire with a heavily detailed geometric pattern filling the negative spaces, & small circular floral windows. The inside of the bowl has a similar patterned band below the rim, with gold embossed flowers & foliage reaching into the white space beneath. Provenance: from a private Maryland collector
