one of the eggs emblazoned with the Imperial Cypher of Maria Feodorovna on a sang de boeuf colored glaze fading into a splash of periwinkle blue, a festooned gilded fillet surrounds the opening; the other features the Imperial Russia Coat of Arms on a deep red ground, suspended from a ribbon in the colors of the Order of Saint George; height of the Maria Feodorovna egg: 9.5 cm (3 3/4 in.), height of the Coat of Arms egg: 8 cm (3 1/8 in.)
