one egg in the form of an amethyst-colored glass box, a central hinge opens to reveal an interior compartment; the other egg of translucent cranberry-colored glass with two bronze mounts on the top and bottom, the bottom mount with the Cyrillic letters XV, the top in the form of a suspension loop, the sides decorated with printed flowers with gilded highlights and molded Cyrillic letters XV, height of amethyst-colored egg: 10.7 cm (4 1/4 in.), height of cranberry-colored egg: 10.5 cm (4 1/8 in.)
