the central image of the Guardian Angel depicted on a pale blue cloud formation, holding a cross in his right hand and a sword in the left, behind him stand Saint Basil the Great, Martyr Capitolina, Saint Niocholas the Wonderworker and Saint Polycarp. Egg tempera, gold leaf and gesso on wood panel with a kovcheg. Two insert splints on the back. 31.3 x 26.7 cm (12 3/8 x 10 1/2 in.)
