the central image of the Resurrection of Christ and the Harrowing of Hell surrounded by eight scenes: Bogolyubskaya Mother of God, Deesis, Joy of All Who Sorrow, Guardian Angel with Saint Martyr Gliceria and Saint Mary of Egypt, Intercession of the Mother of God, Our Lady of the Burning Bush, Dormition of the Mother of God, Saint Michael with Saint Jacob and Saint Theodore. Egg tempera, gold leaf and gesso on wood panel with a kovcheg. Two insert splints on the back. 52.7 x 45.5 cm (20 3/4 x 17 7/8 in.)
