one depicting Guanyin seated on a pierced rockwork base that supports a vase on one side and a bird on the other, the goddess peers down at a child seated on her lap, wearing voluminous robes that drape over her topknot, two attendants are shown standing in front; the other figural group presents a couple seated at a table, the woman playing the pipa and the gentleman listening with hands and legs crossed, height of the group with Guanyin: 17.8 cm (7 in.), height of the musical group: 16.5 cm (6.5 in.)
